The Town Manager serves at the pleasure of the Board of Commissioners. The primary responsibility of the Town Manager's office is to ensure that the laws of the State of North Carolina and the ordinances, resolutions, policies, and regulations of the Town of Pilot Mountain are faithfully executed.
The Town Manager's office directs, coordinates, and evaluates the performance of Town services, and provides staff support to the Board of Commissioners — including budget and capital improvement recommendations, clear staff reports on Board agenda items, and supervision of department heads, officers, and employees.
