Downtown Pilot Mountain sits at the foot of North Carolina's most iconic natural landmark, offering a mountain vibe through music and arts, and a variety of shopping and farm-to-table experiences in a pedestrian- and cycling-friendly environment. Downtown serves as the basecamp for outdoor adventure and agritourism, bringing it all together as a place for families to thrive in mind, body, and soul.
Since 2017, the Main Street Coordinating Committee has led a revitalization effort in downtown Pilot Mountain to develop and support a vibrant community with a thriving, prosperous local economy — modeled on Main Street America's Four-Point Approach.
